This is our favorite smoothie to boost our immune system at the moment. The pineapple brings the perfect amount of sweetness to balance the spicy ginger and turmeric.
Ingredients: (makes 2 servings)
1 cup pineapple
1 tsp turmeric powder or ½ inch fresh turmeric
½ thumb size piece of ginger root
Juice of ½ lemon
1 cup ice
1 cup water
Throw all ingredients into a blender and blend on high until smooth. Enjoy!
